I am generally fairly frugal and rarely spend extravagant amounts of money on myself. I usually balk when an item costs more than $50, but I do treat myself once a year to something nice. Usually, I treat myself to a pair of shoes or handbag, which I consider an investment that I will always have.

I am completely smitten with the Madewell Zip Transport Tote. It’s not just a great leather tote, it’s simply the best! This bag stands out for having an adjustable crossbody strap, which is such a bonus compared to bags that just have a shoulder strap. By wearing it across my body, I never have to worry about my bag slipping off my arm.
